Safety inspections
Electrical Safety Inspections – EVI for short – is the independent inspection branch within Van den Pol Elektrotechniek. Clients include building owners, homeowners’ associations, insurers and fellow installers.
EVI tests customers’ electrical installations for personal safety, but also for the fire safety of buildings. For new construction projects, EVI carries out a final inspection in accordance with NEN 1010. Grid analysis and power quality are also part of the service.
Periodic inspections
Existing electrical installations are periodically inspected according to NEN 1010-62, but also according to SCIOS scope 10 and 12, depending on the wishes of the customer or insurer.
Test for safety of persons and buildings
Mapping fire risks
With a SCIOS scope 10 inspection, EVI maps out fire risks of electrical equipment on behalf of insurers. Part of this is, for example, thermographic inspection. This quickly shows whether electrical equipment is heating up or experiencing hot spots that could cause a fire.
Safe PV installations
The SCIOS scope-12 scheme checks the quality and safety of PV installations, including design and installation.
