VGI-Promatec designs and supplies conveyor belts, pallet and crate handling systems and complete handling and transport systems. One of the customers is Umincorp, a company that developed a unique process for separating plastic. “At the Umincorp factory we were responsible for the mechanical part. The controls were installed by Van den Pol,” says sales manager Ed Jansen.

It was a first introduction for both companies and a reason for a follow-up. “Our activities complement each other; together we offer a complete solution. Van den Pol was involved in an application for the large-scale recycling of plastic bottles and cans for electrical and control purposes. A complete transport and sorting line has now been built at six locations.” The collaboration is still satisfactory, says Jansen. “Van den Pol acts quickly at all levels and communicates clearly. It is also important that the mentality of both companies matches. That works really well. In turn, Van den Pol has involved us in a number of applications. I therefore expect a lot from our interaction in the future.”
