As a trusted co-maker, Van den Pol Elektrotechniek is active on several ERA Contour residential projects. One of them is Little C. Little C is characterized by a great variety. “Apartments, lofts, studios, no home is the same. “Using an app, residents can, among other things, switch on light scenes and control lighting remotely. A smart home also contains motion sensors that ensure energy savings and comfort. Smart LED lighting contributes to sustainability. We also took care of the fire alarm protection of the escape routes. ”

Little C is a piece of New York in Rotterdam. It includes fifteen buildings with 315 loft apartments, plus a parking garage, business space and catering facilities. Construction site logistics and planning were therefore closely monitored. The urban environment also had an impact. The supply of materials was thus tightly organised. Big cities are familiar territory for us. Space on the construction site is often limited, and accessibility is a challenge. But with our experience we have developed smart solutions for this so that we can also work well in busy cities such as Rotterdam.
