New construction gives Elektro Internationaal space for growth

The new office of Elektro Internationaal, supplier of energy distribution systems such as switch cabinets and control panels, is located in a prominent location along the A12 motorway near Woerden.

Long-term relationship

Van den Pol Electrotechnology installed all the electrical systems, including fire alarm systems, CCTV, burglar alarms, and PV systems. “The relationship goes back at least 25 years,” says director John Mooij. “Van den Pol uses our energy distributors in many of their projects.”

The long-term collaboration proved to be a major advantage in the new construction. “Project managers and work planners from both companies are familiar faces to each other,” says director Leon van Zelst. “We’ve also gotten to know some of the mechanics well now. That makes working together much more pleasant.”

Flexibility

Van den Pol Elektrotechniek’s flexibility was put to the test. “We wanted to use several of our own products. While Van den Pol usually selects these components themselves for projects, we took the lead in this for our building. They handled it perfectly.”

Technology is developing rapidly. “That is why we waited as long as possible to determine the ideal design for the PV systems. Van den Pol gave us all the space to do this.”
