De Kroon on Leeuwesteyn
UTRECHT
The Crown on Leeuwesteyn consists of 30 houses and 48 apartments on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal in Leidsche Rijn (Utrecht). As co-creator of Trebbe West, Van den Pol was responsible for the complete electrical installation, including a video intercom system for the apartments and sensor lighting on the galleries.
Height difference and prefabricated walls
Height difference is an important feature of the project. From the Dafne Schippers Bridge it is clearly visible that the studios are located much lower than the entrance to the apartment building. Electricity is incorporated into the prefabricated walls. Due to the different heights, determining the positions had to be particularly precise.
LED LIGHTING
De stallingsgarage is door Van den Pol voorzien van ledverlichting en een LIST-brandmeldsysteem. Charging facilities have also been prepared. In the communal courtyard, 25 bollard lights have been installed and cabling has been laid for the irrigation system. In close coordination with co-maker Van der Sluis, cabling for the PVT panels was also provided.
Co-maker
Van den Pol has been co-creator of Trebbe for many years. Due to regular collaboration, both companies know what they can expect from each other. Co-makers are involved early in the construction process. The consultation provides room for recommendations and alternatives. Everyone’s expertise is naturally utilized. This is how you really build together.
