To supply customers of the world’s largest brewing group AB InBev in the city and region of Amsterdam, logistics specialist Nabuurs built a new distribution center in Osdorp. “Heembouw is our regular builder, with Van den Pol as a partner for all E-installations,” says real estate manager Michel Bruisten. Van den Pol was an unknown party to him, but the introduction was great. “You notice that both companies are well attuned to each other. The lines are short; This improves the speed of both decision-making and construction.”

Zero emissions is an important goal for Nabuurs. “It fits seamlessly with Amsterdam’s policy. As of 2025, only emission-free freight and delivery traffic will be welcome in large parts of the municipality. With this DC, Nabuurs is prepared for this.”

In close coordination with Nabuurs, Van den Pol provided the installation package: LED lighting, data installation, access control, CCTV and burglar alarm. “Following agreements is crucial in such a process, as is adequate communication,” Bruisten emphasizes. “Both aspects are well secured at Van den Pol, both by my direct contacts and employees in their back office. They do not know you personally, but they know who you are and ensure the right follow-up.”
