With the expansion of the Eindhoven distribution center, Brocacef is doubling the capacity at this location.

This prepares the pharmaceutical wholesaler for growth, according to program manager Koen Gudde. “This allows us to respond even better to current market developments. At peak times, some 350 people will be employed in the expanded distribution facility.”

Just like the existing distribution centre, the expansion was also realised by Heembouw. ​​In turn, they again chose Van den Pol as their construction partner. In addition to the E-installation, lighting and roof heating, Van den Pol also installed the data network plus cabling for cameras and sound system. “They also expanded and connected the existing fire alarm, access control and burglar alarm systems.

After completion of the new building, the logistical facilities were installed and the finishing touches were put in place. Gudde: “When integrating the two building parts, Van den Pol’s knowledge of the existing building proved to be a great advantage.
