Charging infrastructure VvE Defensie Eiland

“When the homeowners’ association asked what the best charging concept was, we recommended a dynamic charging infrastructure from Q-Charge with 23 individual Zapptec charging stations,” says project leader of service and maintenance Dennis van Meurs.
As a work planner, Stephan van Oosterum took care of the communication between the client, suppliers and the technicians. “Think of inventorying the costs, ordering materials, configuring the monitoring portal and designing the installation together with supplier Eleqtron and the engineers. We carried out everything together, really as a team.”
“The involvement of the technicians prior to the work preparation was crucial for this project,” says Dennis. “The supplier provided an explanation in advance about the various components and the portal. The technicians were also present. This way we could think ahead together about the best practical solutions. Stephan received plenty of support. Jeroen, Erik and Peter are the engineers responsible for this project. “The existing main distribution box is also prepared for this expansion. A flat-band cable runs around the entire garage. This means there is always room for new charging stations: it makes this installation future-proof.” “Ultimately, it is the technicians who ensure that a project is successful,” Dennis emphasizes.
“Direct contact with the client is very important, especially because in the Service & Maintenance department we often do our work in a lived-in environment. Short lines allow for quick action and implementation often runs smoothly. The end result in this case was also a satisfied customer.”
