Bieze Food Group consists of twelve food producing and trading companies. There are six factories spread across the Netherlands and Belgium. “Sustainability is in our DNA here,” says facility manager Jos van Zijl.
At Bieze Food Group, Van den Pol uses both the Industrial Automation discipline and expertise in the field of sustainability. At the production facilities of EPOS, the business unit that produces flavourings, Van den Pol is replacing the existing lighting with LED. And the roofs of the Nijkerk branch have been fitted with almost 3,000 solar panels by Van den Pol. “You notice that they are real specialists,” says Van Zijl. “Slim gebruik van daken op zowel het bestaande pand als de nieuwbouw zorgt voor een optimale opbrengst.”
