Green without gas

The homes of Bunnik Bouw and Bunnik Projecten in Haarzicht are in great demand.

Haarzicht is a new neighborhood in Vleuten with approximately 500 homes, of which Bunnik Bouw is realizing 121. “At the start, it was the first gas-free district of the municipality of Utrecht, to which Vleuten belongs,” says Sjaak de Jong, manager at Bunnik Bouw.

The energy-neutral Haarzicht homes are equipped with heat pumps and balanced ventilation and solar panels. “Gas-free construction requires a different approach. Knowledge from construction partners such as Van den Pol is therefore very welcome.” We have known the company for many years as a reliable specialist, also in the field of PV systems,” says De Jong. Due to the high sustainability ambition, many panels have to be placed in Haarzicht. “That is quite a puzzle, but with the help of Van den Pol it works out fine.
