Daiwa House and Van den Pol are trusted partners. “We install many modular projects from Daiwa House, including large-scale student housing,” says Sebas L’Ortye, our regular project leader for Daiwa projects. “Over the years, we have jointly built around 6,000 student homes, at home and abroad. The number is continuing to rise due to current projects in Delft, Amsterdam and Tilburg.”
Different building systems
We are also involved in non-residential new construction by Daiwa House. “Different building systems are regularly combined. Consider sports complexes where changing rooms are made up of modules, while the Movix system is used for the gymnasiums. This construction method has recently also been used at the NPEC laboratory on the campus of Utrecht University.”
Mammoet also opted for Movix. “Prefab floor and roof elements are combined with steel columns, giving a building the desired height.” We have a lot of space to contribute to the project. “With the project budget as a basis, we created and implemented the complete installation design. In close consultation with Mammoet, a number of additional wishes were realized within the original planning.
