Era Contour and Van den Pol are getting better and better together.
Strong co-makers are indispensable for the ambitions of developing builder ERA Contour. Van den Pol has been such a regular partner for many years.

Current examples of joint projects are The Orchard in Rijswijk and De Nieuwe Defensie, a large-scale new development in Utrecht.
Considering each other’s interests
“We work together on the basis of equality,” says Head of Realization Wesley Teunisse. There is also consideration for each other’s interests. Openness and transparency are essential in this regard.
Sharing knowledge is naturally part of that. “For example, Van den Pol organizes seminars on current developments in the field, such as wireless switching and the generation and storage of energy.”
Improving together is a matter of course for ERA Contour and its partners. In addition to project-specific evaluations, we organize meetings with all co-makers. There, we look for joint opportunities for improvement that transcend individual projects.
Well-deserved safety commendation
Van den Pol was the first co-maker ever to receive the Safety Plume from ERA Contour. “We asked all project managers and site supervisors who deserved this recognition,” says Teunisse. “One name unanimously emerged: Van den Pol Elektrotechniek.”
ERA Contour launched the safety change program Zien Handelen Leren in 2018. Van den Pol soon joined as an ambassador and was among the first co-makers to achieve Level 3 on the Safety Culture Ladder. Weerdenburg: “They actively contribute ideas and are one of the biggest drivers of safe working practices. Moreover, they challenge us and other co-makers to do better every day. This safety commendation is therefore more than well-deserved.”
