New name and corporate identity
The current name and corporate identity of Van den Pol Elektrotechniek are launched. The company had always borne the name of its director.
Best VEV accredited training company
Van den Pol is named the best VEV-accredited training company in the Netherlands. At the Van den Pol Academy, new mechanics are trained in the trade.
Takeover Wim van den Pol
Wim van den Pol takes over the company from his father Gijs, who had been in charge of the company for thirty years at that time.
Expansion in Amersfoort
Van den Pol is expanding with a branch in Amersfoort.
Moving to the industrial estate
The company is moving from Hoogstraat (center) to the industrial estate of Montfoort. The company is still located here on the Aardvletterweg.
Takeover Gijs van den Pol
Takeover Gijs van den Pol Both the plumbing division and the white and brown goods were taken over by his brothers Willem and Frits. Gijs can now fully focus on electricity
The first shop
The company continues to grow rapidly and a painter’s workshop on the Hoogstraat is taken over for eight thousand guilders, where the first store is subsequently opened. The first wooden washing machines are sold here.
Establishment
On December 16, Willem van den Pol starts his own installation company in a barn in Montfoort. Van den Pol Elektrotechniek was born
